Understanding Komodo National Park Fee’s

Understanding the Komodo National Park fee’s can be a minefield, even if you can confidently speak and read Indonesian!

Trust us, in a country that ever develops, changes on a daily basis can be expected so we promise to keep this information as up to date as possible. This information is correct as of October 2015. Email us if you have any questions.

At Uber Scuba, we provide a full service to our guests, offering you the option whether you’d like us to purchase the admission tickets for you – or – direct you to the Official National Park office to buy them yourself.

It’s up to you how you do this, but we have created the guide below to help give you an understanding of what to expect.


Scuba Divers:

Monday to Saturday: 150,000 IDR (marine fee) + 25,000 IDR (scuba ticket) = 175,000

Sunday & Public Holidays: 225,000 IDR (marine fee) + 25,000 IDR (scuba ticket) = 250,000 IDR


Snorkelers:

Monday to Saturday: 150,000 IDR (marine fee) + 15,000 IDR (scuba ticket) = 165,000

Sunday & Public Holidays: 225,000 IDR (marine fee) + 15,000 IDR (scuba ticket) = 240,000 IDR

Below are a number of example’s of different ticket types which we purchase on a daily basis:


Komodo National Park Fee - Monday to Saturday

1. ‘Karcis Masuk Pengunjung’ = ‘Admission Visitors’ – #TN/MAN

Monday to Saturday – entrance fee of 150,000 IDR per person, per day

This is the fee you pay to leave the harbour and cross the National Park Boundary Monday to Saturday, not including Scuba Ticket.


Komodo National Park Fee - Sunday and Public Holiday

2. ‘Karcis Masuk Hari Libur’ = ‘Admission – Holidays’ – #TN/MAN

Sundays and Public Holidays – entrance fee of 225,000 IDR per person, per day

This is the fee you pay to leave the harbour and cross the National Park Boundary Sunday & Public Holidays, not including Scuba Ticket.


Komodo National Park Fee - Indonesian / KITAS / KITAP

3. ‘Karcis Masuk Pengunjung’ – #TN/NUS

This is the ticket for Indonesian Nationals/ KITAS / KITAP Holders

(KITAS / KITAP is the long stay permit for long term visitors of Indonesia – 6 months +)

5,000 IDR per person, per day

This is the fee you pay to leave the harbour and cross the National Park Boundary all week, not including Scuba Ticket.


Komodo National Park Fee - scuba diving add on

4. ‘Karcis Kegiatan Wisata Alam – Menyelam’ = ‘Admission Ticket For Nature Tourism Activities – Diving’ – #TN/KWA

Add on payment of 25,000 IDR per person, per day

This is an extra ticket for Scuba Diving – add this onto one of the above options.
